Partnering with property managers and realtors, we integrate our services seamlessly into move-in and move-out packages. What sets us apart is our philanthropic mission—we donate usable items to those in need and support local charities like the Texas Empty Shelter Project. A portion of our profits goes towards local animal rescues and initiatives addressing homelessness for both humans and pets.
Meet Helen Lee, Founder of Toss Da Junk
Helen Lee's journey from online entrepreneur to philanthropic junk removal business owner began with a Poshmark sale. Her company, Toss Da Junk, not only clears clutter but also uplifts communities through donations and charity partnerships, driven by a passion for service and gratitude.
Our Story
On a cold winter day in 2023, we volunteered for a fellow Houstonian who needed extra hands for hoarder cleanouts but couldn’t afford the cost of junk removal. The littered home used to be where the family enjoyed their time with each other but has been sullied by excess items, furniture, clothes, shoes, and containers, each with a story behind…. It was such a dirty job, but turns out, we LOVED the laughter, happiness, and peace of mind we were able to GIFT the family. Covered in dirt and sweat, we realized that gift was not only for the family in need but for us as well, prompting us to start Toss Da Junk to continue to give the same passion and love we felt that first time to others! As native Texans, we're dedicated to supporting our cherished community by donating to charities focused on human and animal homelessness every month. In addition, we would volunteer once a quarter for a “trashy” cause to keep Houston a cleaner place!
